About us
Stray and Bound is the story of two people who feel most at home out in the wild parts of Australia.
Stray is curiosity and adventure, always drawn to the next track, the next beach, the next “what’s out there?”
Bound is grounded and steady, happiest with a plan, a good camp set up, and the time to properly take in a place.
Together, we spend our time camping, exploring, travelling, and fishing, chasing those moments where life slows down and the world feels big again. We love meeting people along the way, the chats at campsites and boat ramps, the shared tips, the stories, and the simple kindness you find on the road.
Our photography focuses on what we love most: nature in its rawest form, the contrast of turquoise ocean against iron-red earth, huge skies, rugged coastlines, remote tracks, and the incredible wildlife that comes with it. We’re especially drawn to the Pilbara and Kimberley, places that feel ancient, powerful, and endlessly alive.
Stray and Bound is our way of capturing that feeling, the edge of the map, the quiet between wind gusts, the shimmer of fish in clear water, and the freedom you only find when you’re far from the noise.
